Basketball Game Preview: South Carroll Cavaliers vs. Patterson Mill

Last Friday, South Carroll didn't have too much trouble with Walkersville as they won 55-37.

Meanwhile, Patterson Mill came tearing into Friday's matchup with three straight wins (a stretch where they outscored their opponents by an average of 14 points), and they left with even more momentum. They blew past the Bobcats 61-24. Given Patterson Mill's advantage in MaxPreps' Maryland basketball rankings (they are ranked 63rd, while Bel Air is ranked 206th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.

South Carroll's victory bumped their record up to 11-9. As for Patterson Mill, their win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 15-6.
