Soccer Recap: Animo De La Hoya Takes a Loss

Animo De La Hoya was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their sixth straight loss. They lost 7-0 to the Stern Titans. The result was an unpleasant reminder to the Boxers of the 3-1 defeat they experienced in the pair's previous head-to-head fixture back in January of 2024.

Animo De La Hoya's loss dropped their record down to 1-7. As for Stern, they moved to 4-5 with that win, which also ended their three-game losing streak.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Animo De La Hoya will head out to face off against Smidt Tech at 2:00 p.m. on February 5th. As for Stern, they are taking a road trip to take on Rise Kohyang at 2:00 p.m. on Friday.
