Football Game Recap: Bellevue vs. Nicholas County

Bellevue might have drawn first blood against Nicholas County on Saturday, but it was Nicholas County who got the last laugh. Bellevue took a hard 27-43 fall. If they were hoping for some payback for the 36-38 loss against Nicholas County the last time the two teams met, then they were disappointed. This was the first contest for both squads, starting Bellevue off on the wrong foot at 0-1, while giving Nicholas County a 1-0 record.

Next week, Bellevue take on Dayton at 7:00 PM. As for Nicholas County, they will face of against Pendleton County. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, Nicholas County and Pendleton County will really light up the scoreboard.
