Colonia was the 38-7 winner over Edison when they last played one another back in September of 2021, but their luck changed this time around. The Colonia Patriots took a 27-21 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Edison Eagles. While the Patriots had to settle for second, they closed the game well in the third quarter, where they outscored the Eagles 7-0.
