Baseball Game Preview: Murdock Blue Devils vs. Bromfield Trojans

Murdock hasn't had much luck against Bromfield recently, but that could start to change on Wednesday. The Blue Devils are taking a road trip to face off against the Trojans at 4:00 p.m. Murdock has given up an average of 12.8 runs per game this season, but Wednesday's game will give them a chance to turn things around.

Murdock came into their game on Monday off a hard-fought close win, but unfortunately suffered a serious change of fortune. They came up short against Nashoba Valley Tech, falling 16-5.

Quinn Brimhall made the most of his time in the batter's box despite the final result and went 1-for-2 with one home run, three RBI, and one stolen base.

Meanwhile, Bromfield suffered their biggest defeat since April 10th on Monday. They lost 11-1 to Quabbin Regional. The loss continues a trend for the Trojans in their meetings with the Panthers: they've now lost four in a row.

Murdock's defeat dropped their record down to 1-14. As for Bromfield, their loss dropped their record down to 4-10.

Murdock might still be hurting after the 12-2 defeat they got from Bromfield in their previous matchup back in April. Can the Blue Devils avenge their loss or is history doomed to repeat itself? We'll find out soon enough.
