Basketball Game Preview: STEM School Highlands Ranch Spartans vs. Jefferson Saints

The STEM School Highlands Ranch Spartans will challenge the Jefferson Saints at 5:30 p.m. on Friday. STEM School Highlands Ranch is coming into the match on a four-game losing streak.

Last Wednesday, STEM School Highlands Ranch came up short against Ascent Classical Academy and fell 19-11.

Meanwhile, there's no place like home for Jefferson, who bounced back after a loss on the road back in December of 2024. They secured a 45-39 W over Arrupe Jesuit on Thursday.

STEM School Highlands Ranch better keep an eye on T Nutter. She was instrumental in Jefferson's win, dropping a double-double on 18 points and 19 rebounds. Nutter is crushing it when it comes to boards: she's pulled down at least 13 every time she's taken the court this season. Another player making a difference was Gigi Trujillo, who went 5 of 8 on her way to 12 points.

Jefferson was working as a unit and finished the game with 14 assists. That's the most assists they've posted since back in December of 2023.

STEM School Highlands Ranch's defeat dropped their record down to 1-6. As for Jefferson, the victory got them back to even at 4-4.
