Football Recap: Coral Springs Charter Takes a Loss

Coral Springs Charter fell victim to Stoneman Douglas and their airtight defense on Thursday. They were dealt a 39-0 loss at the hands of the Eagles. The Panthers gained 113 more yards on the day, but it was the Eagles that made the best use of them.

Ali Rodriquez threw for 135 yards on ten of 15 attempts. On the ground, Ariana Irizarry rushed for 50 yards.

Samantha Calavetta was her usual excellent self, throwing for 181 yards and five touchdowns while completing 80% of her passes for Stoneman Douglas. Courtney Heymach was in the mix as well, providing the Eagles with two scores.
