Volleyball Recap: Cleveland Beats Clayton for Their Fourth Straight Win

Cleveland entered their tilt with Clayton on Tuesday with three consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with four. They put the hurt on the Comets with a sharp 3-0 victory. That's the third time they've managed to beat them this season, with their most recent win being a 3-0 victory last Thursday.

Cleveland got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Addison Evans out in front who had eight digs and three aces. Another player making a difference was Madison Smith, who had nine digs and six kills.

Cleveland's victory bumped their record up to 19-4. As for Clayton, they have traveled a rocky road recently, having lost three of their last four matchups. That's put a noticeable dent in their 10-8 record this season.

Cleveland will be playing at home against Garner at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Clayton does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
