Community Charter suffers third straight loss at home

Recap: Community Charter Titans vs. Triumph Charter Jaguars
If the Community Charter Titans were riding high off their 50-26 takedown of the CALS Early College Falcons back in December of 2023, their most recent game may have dampened their spirits a bit. Community Charter was outmatched by Triumph Charter at home and fell 67-39. Community Charter was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 43-17.
Triumph Charter found their leader in underclassman Antonio Garcia III, who scored 22 points. The contest was Garcia III's 18th in a row with at least ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Oswaldo Araiza, who scored 12 points.
Community Charter's loss was their third straight at home, which bumped their record down to 3-7. As for Triumph Charter, the victory (which was their fourth in a row) raised their record to 16-3.
Community Charter will head out on the road to face off against Valley Oaks CES at 4:00 p.m. on Friday. Triumph Charter won't have much time to rest: their next contest is against Bert Corona Charter at 4:00 p.m. on January 11th.
