Volleyball Recap: North Quincy Takes a Loss

North Quincy was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight defeat. They fell 3-1 to the Woburn Memorial Tanners.

The final score came out to 25-14, 23-25, 25-21, 25-21.

Leading Woburn Memorial to victory were Mateo Qirjazi and Rohan Patel. Qirjazi had 12 digs and three aces, while Patel had 27 digs. Qirjazi is also on a roll when it comes to assists, as he's now posted 17 or more in each of the last 19 games he's played.

North Quincy's loss dropped their record down to 8-11. As for Woburn Memorial, they are on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine matchups. That's provided a massive bump to their 14-7 record this season.

North Quincy does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Woburn Memorial, they didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 3-1 defeat against Needham on the 31st.
