Big Bear extended their winning streak to six games thanks to a huge performance from Savion Sorapuru. The Big Bear Bears came out on top against the San Gorgonio Spartans by a score of 66-55 on Friday thanks in part to Sorapuru, who dropped a double-double on 26 points and 13 boards. The dominant performance gave him a new career-high in rebounds.

Another player making a difference was Aiden Brewer, who dropped a double-double on 15 points and ten rebounds. He has been hot for a while, having also posted two or more steals the last 12 times he's played.

Big Bear's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 13-4. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 77.0 points per game. As for San Gorgonio, their defeat dropped their record down to 6-11.

Both squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Big Bear will challenge Riverside Prep at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday. As for San Gorgonio, they will face off against Colton at 6:00 p.m. on January 10th.
