Softball Recap: Baldwin Park Braves vs. Monrovia Wildcats
Baldwin Park was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their seventh straight loss dating back to last season. They came up short against the Monrovia Wildcats, falling 25-1. The Braves were not able to make up for their defeat to the Wildcats from their previous meeting back in February of 2022.
Baldwin Park saw four different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Jazmyn Rosales, who scored a run while going 2-for-2.
Baldwin Park's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Monrovia, they moved to 1-5 with that win, which also ended their six-game losing streak.
Looking ahead, Baldwin Park will challenge Pioneer at 3:15 p.m. on Friday. Baldwin Park has given up an average of 14.2 runs per game this season, so hopefully the team got some pitching drills in this week. As for Monrovia, they will take on Pasadena at 3:15 p.m. on Tuesday.
