Volleyball Recap: Natchez Takes a Loss

Natchez was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their 13th straight defeat. They lost 3-0 to the Port Gibson Blue Waves. Unfortunately, that's the second time they've come up short against the Blue Waves this season, as they also lost their prior matchup 3-1 back in August.

Natchez's loss dropped their record down to 1-13. As for Port Gibson, they have been performing well recently as they've won four of their last five matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 5-5 record this season.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Natchez will host Brookhaven at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday. As for Port Gibson, they will welcome Jefferson County at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday.
