Recap: Glen Allen Jaguars vs. Godwin Eagles
The Glen Allen Jaguars put another one in the bag on Friday to keep their perfect season alive. They came out on top against Godwin by a score of 54-44. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Glen Allen also won the last time the pair played back in February.
Glen Allen's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Kamden Tiller led the charge by dropping a double-double on 23 points and 14 rebounds. Tyson Granderson was another key contributor, scoring 10 points along with 8 steals.
Glen Allen's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 4-0. Those victories were due in large part to their offensive dominance across that stretch, as they averaged 57.8 points per game. As for Godwin, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 3-2.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Glen Allen will take on Charles J. Colgan at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Charles J. Colgan will have to bring their A-game into this one, as they are staring down a pretty big deficit in the MaxPreps Virginia Rankings (they are ranked 174th, while Glen Allen is ranked 24th). As for Godwin, they will play host again and welcome J.R. Tucker, where tip off is scheduled for 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
