Soccer Game Preview: East vs. Skyline

East is preparing for their first region matchup of the season on Tuesday. They will take on the Skyline Eagles at 3:30 p.m. East will be coming into the game with an undefeated record on the line.

If Skyline heads into halftime all tied up, they better play a good second half: that's when East took over last week. East walked away with a 2-0 win over Sky View on Monday. That's two games straight that the Leopards have won by exactly two goals.

Jorge Beltran and Alejandro Preciado scored both of East's goals, bringing their combined season tally to seven goals.

Meanwhile, Skyline didn't have quite enough to beat Salem Hills on Saturday and fell 3-2. The Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Skyline now has a losing record of 1-2. As for East, they pushed their record up to 5-0 with the victory, which was their third straight on the road.

East beat Skyline 3-1 in their previous meeting back in April of 2024. Does East have another victory up their sleeve, or will Skyline turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
