Soccer Recap: Lafayette Jefferson Takes a Loss

Lafayette Jefferson lost against Anderson back in August of 2024, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Saturday. The Bronchos came up short against the Indians, falling 4-1. Having soared to a lofty five goals in the game before, Lafayette Jefferson couldn't push the score so high this time.

Their goal came courtesy of Ian Cardona, who's now up to three this season.

Lafayette Jefferson's defeat dropped their record down to 1-1. As for Anderson, the victory (which was their third in a row) raised their record to 3-0.

Lafayette Jefferson has already played their next match, a 9-0 win against Lafayette Central Catholic on the 25th. As for Anderson, they will challenge Yorktown at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
