Softball Recap: Franklin Comes Up Short

After flying high against Cleveland on Tuesday, Franklin came back down to earth. The Quakers came up short against the Chief Sealth Seahawks on Thursday, falling 19-5. The loss continues a trend for the Quakers in their meetings with the Seahawks: they've now lost seven in a row.

Franklin's defeat dropped their record down to 7-4. As for Chief Sealth, they have been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven contests. That's provided a massive bump to their 8-7 record this season.

Chief Sealth will challenge Liberty at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Franklin will be paying especially close attention to the Seahawks' matchup: after the Seahawks face off against the Patriots, they'll take on Franklin again at 3:30 p.m. on Monday.
