Baseball Recap: Imagine School at North Port Takes a Loss

Imagine School at North Port scored first but ultimately less than Out-of-Door Academy in their game on Friday. They fell just short of the Out-of-Door Academy Thunder by a score of 4-3. The Sharks were given a dose of their own medicine in this game as the Thunder apparently hadn't forgotten their defeat the last time these teams played back in May of 2024.

Cooper Boggess was cooking despite his team's loss, scoring two runs and stealing a base while going 1-for-3. He also hit a double, marking his first of the season.

Imagine School at North Port's loss dropped their record down to 2-6. As for Out-of-Door Academy, the win got them back to even at 4-4.

Coincidentally, Imagine School at North Port and Out-of-Door Academy will both be playing Cardinal Mooney the next time they take the field. Out-of-Door Academy will host Cardinal Mooney at 7:00 p.m. on Monday, while Imagine School at North Port will head out to face them at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday.
