Soccer Game Preview: The Classical Academy vs. Pueblo Centennial

The Classical Academy will square off against the Pueblo Centennial Bulldogs on Saturday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.

The Classical Academy is on a roll after a high-stakes playoff matchup on Thursday. They blew past St. Mary's Academy 5-1. The high-scoring effort was just what The Classical Academy needed considering they were shut out in their previous contest.

Meanwhile, Aspen kept up with Pueblo Centennial until halftime on Thursday, but afterwards: not so much. The Bulldogs were the clear victors by a 6-2 margin over the Skiers. The win was nothing new for Pueblo Centennial as they're now sitting on three straight.

They hit Aspen with a four-pronged attack, as the team got scores from Ella Greenwood (3), Brooklyn Montano, MaKenzie Franco, and Jailee Schwab.

The Classical Academy's victory bumped their record up to 9-4-1. As for Pueblo Centennial, their win bumped their record up to 15-1.
