Basketball Recap: St. Cloud Cathedral Has No Trouble Against Concordia Academy

While St. Cloud Cathedral didn't have the best season last year (they finished 11-16), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past. They put the hurt on the Concordia Academy Beacons with a sharp 82-56 win on Friday. The Crusaders have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won three games by 22 points or more this season.

St. Cloud Cathedral's victory bumped their record up to 6-2. As for Concordia Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 4-3.

St. Cloud Cathedral won't have much time to rest: their next match is against Melrose at 5:00 p.m. on Saturday. St. Cloud Cathedral is facing Melrose at the right time seeing as Melrose is stuck on a three-game losing streak. As for Concordia Academy, they will have a little extra prep time after the defeat as they won't be playing again for a while. They'll take on St. Croix Lutheran at 7:00 p.m. on January 6, 2025.
