Baseball Recap: Hatch Comes Up Short

Hatch was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were a single run away from ending the streak, but they lost a 5-4 heartbreaker at the hands of the Keith Bears. That's two games in a row now that the Bobcats have lost by just one run.

Hatch's loss dropped their record down to 0-2. As for Keith, the victory got them back to even at 1-1.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Bears beat Hatch by a score of 8-7 later that day.
