Volleyball Recap: Nicolet Knights vs. Dominican Knights
Nicolet lost against Dominican back in September, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Nicolet Knights fell 3-1 to the Dominican Knights. Nicolet has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Nicolet started the match hot and won the first set, but they struggled down the stretch and lost the last three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 22-25, 25-18, 25-17, 25-16.
Despite the loss, Nicolet still got an impressive performance from Andrea Krivomazoz, who had 13 digs. What's more, Krivomazoz also racked up no blocks, the mostshe's had since back in September.
Dominican found their leader in underclassman Gabby Johnson, who had 33 digs, two aces, and a kill. Johnson is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had ten or more in the last 11 games she's played dating back to last season.
Nicolet's loss dropped their record down to 10-15. As for Dominican, the win was the fifth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 19-9.
As of now, neither Nicolet nor Dominican have any future games scheduled.
