Pacifica won the last time they faced El Modena and things went their way on Tuesday too. The Mariners walked away with a 12-7 win over the Vanguards. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Mariners.
Leyla Ayres was incredible, going 2-for-5 with four RBI, two doubles, and one run. That's the most doubles she has posted since back in March. Another player making a difference was Serena Antillon, who went 2-for-5 with four RBI and one run.
Pacifica was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .417. They easily outclassed their opponents in that department as El Modena only posted a batting average of .286.
Pacifica's victory bumped their record up to 17-10. As for El Modena, they moved to 15-13 with that defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
As of now, neither Pacifica nor the Vanguards have any future games scheduled.
