Basketball Recap: Union City Makes It Four in a Row at Home

Union City lost to Memorial back in January, but they didn't allow them the same satisfaction on Thursday. The stars were shining brightly for the Union City Soaring Eagles in a 57-42 win over the Memorial Tigers. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Soaring Eagles.

Union City pushed their record up to 2-0 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home dating back to last season. As for Memorial, their defeat dropped their record down to 0-2.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Union City will be home for the holidays to greet Northern Highlands at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Memorial will take on Kearny in a holiday battle at at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday.
