Liberty won the last time they faced Liberty Christian, and Shania Brown did her part to make sure it happened again. In a tight game that could have gone either way, the Liberty Minutemen made off with a 58-57 win over the Liberty Christian Bulldogs thanks in part to Brown, who dropped a double-double on 25 points and 13 rebounds. She is also on a roll when it comes to shooting accuracy, as she's posted one of at least 45% in the last 13 games she's played.

Annabelle Nance was another key player, putting up six points. That's the most points she has posted since back in February of 2024.

The victory was the fourth in a row for Liberty, bringing their record for this year to 15-3. The wins came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 58.8 points over those games. As for Liberty Christian, this is the second loss in a row for them and nudges their season record down to 13-4.

Liberty didn't take long to hit the court again: they've already played their next contest, a 65-47 win against Jefferson Forest on the 8th. As for Liberty Christian, they will venture away from home to take on Glass at 7:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
