Soccer Game Preview: Blessed Trinity vs. Midtown

The Blessed Trinity Titans are taking a road trip to challenge the Midtown Knights at 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Blessed Trinity's last three matchups have been decided by no more than a goal, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.

While the 0-0 score might suggest a draw, it was Blessed Trinity who was credited with the victory on Friday. The Titans got it done in the shootout by posting five goals to St. Pius X Catholic's three.

Midtown hadn't beaten North Atlanta on the road since February 18, 2020 but that history sure didn't bother them last Friday. The Knights skirted past the Warriors 2-1. The win made it back-to-back victories for Midtown.

The win got Blessed Trinity back to even at 2-2. As for Midtown, they now have a winning record of 2-1.

Blessed Trinity was able to grind out a solid victory over Midtown when the teams last played back in April of 2025, winning 2-0. Do the Titans have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Knights turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
