Basketball Game Recap: Faith Baptist School Falcons vs. Calvary Christian Academy

It was a good run, but the Faith Baptist School Falcons unfortunately witnessed the end of their four-game winning streak on Thursday. They fell 34-27 to Calvary Christian Academy. The result shouldn't come as a shock considering that's the fewest points Faith Baptist School has scored all season.

Brenna Binkley was Faith Baptist School's leading scorer, having posted seven points. Kiersten Yates HS held things down on the boards with eight rebounds.

Faith Baptist School's defeat dropped their record down to 4-1. As for Calvary Christian Academy, the victory got them back to even at 5-5.

Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Faith Baptist School will take on Greenwood Mennonite at 4:30 p.m. on Thursday. Calvary Christian Academy won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Seaside Christian Academy at 6:30 p.m. on January 19th. Seaside Christian Academy is hoping to put an end to a three-game streak of away losses.
