Manual won against Jefferson  on Thursday with 15  runs and they decided to stick to that  run total again  on Friday. The Thunderbolts blew past the Kennedy Commanders 15-5. The result was nothing new for the Thunderbolts, who have now won ten contests by six  runs or more  so far this season.
 Leo Zimmerman was a  major factor no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound,   striking out 15 batters over  six innings while giving up  five earned runs off   nine  hits (and only one walk). Those  15  strikeouts gave  him a new career-high. He was also big at the plate,  going 4-for-5 with two  doubles, two  RBI,  and one  run.
 In other batting news, Manual got a  massive  performance out of  Edgar Salas, who  got on base  in all five of his plate appearances with four  runs, two  doubles,  and one  stolen base. Salas has become a key player for the Thunderbolts: the team is 8-2 when he posts  at  least  two  runs, but 3-5 otherwise. Another player making a difference was  Jake Carney, who  went 2-for-4 with five  RBI, one  run,  and one  double.
 Manual  kept the outfield on their toes and  finished the game with 19  hits. That's the most  hits they've managed all season.
Manual's victory was  their fourth straight at home, which  pushed their record up to 11-7. The  home  wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as  they  averaged 18.0 runs over those games. As for Kennedy, they moved to 9-9 with that  defeat, which also ended their four-game winning streak.
 Both  squads will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Manual will head out to  challenge Denver West  at 4:15  p.m.  on Monday. As for Kennedy, they will square off against Standley Lake at 4:15  p.m.  on Monday.
