Luke Eyink posted a new career-high in strikeouts on Tuesday. He struck out five batters over five innings while giving up just one earned (and one unearned) run off five hits (and only one walk). He also tossed a walk, which is notable because Franklin is 2-1 when he allows at most one walk, but 6-7 otherwise.

Looking ahead, Eyink and Franklin will venture away from home to face off against Bishop Fenwick at 5:00 p.m. on Thursday.
