Soccer Recap: Milton Takes a Loss

It was a proper cat-fight when Milton duked it out with Newton North on Tuesday. The Wildcats fell just short of the Tigers by a score of 3-2. Milton haven't had much luck with Newton North recently, as the team has come up short the last eight times they've met.

Milton's loss dropped their record down to 3-5-3. As for Newton North, the win snapped their losing streak at three matches and leaves them with a 4-5-1 record.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming contests. Milton will venture away from home to face off against Framingham at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. Framingham's defense has only allowed 0.4 goals per game this season, so Milton's offense will have their work cut out for them. As for Newton North, they are taking a road trip to square off against Walpole at 6:45 p.m. on Thursday.
