Basketball Recap: Baldwin County Comes Up Short

Baldwin County was not able to break out of their rough patch on Monday as the team picked up their sixth straight defeat. They were outmatched by the McGill-Toolen Yellowjackets and fell 70-36. While losing is never fun, the Tigers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 250th, while the Yellowjackets are ranked 41st).

Baldwin County's loss dropped their record down to 4-11. As for McGill-Toolen, the win (which was their sixth in a row) raised their record to 13-6.

While Baldwin County had to take the loss, they won't have to wait long to give it another shot: the pair's next game is a rematch scheduled at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday.
