Basketball Recap: Friday's Victory Is Kenai Central's Fifth in Last Six Outings

Kenai Central's game last Friday was a loss, but they didn't let that memory haunt them on Friday. They managed a 59-54 victory over the Nikiski Bulldogs. Surprisingly, this marked the fifth straight game that the away team has come away the victor.

Kenai Central has been performing well recently as they've won five of their last six contests. That's provided a nice bump to their 16-9 record this season. Nikiski's loss dropped their record down to 8-15.

Kenai Central does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Nikiski, they won't have much time to rest: their next matchup is against Homer at 12:00 p.m. on Saturday. Homer will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Nikiski surely won't give up without a fight.
