For the second straight game, San Leandro will face off against Arroyo. San Leandro will head out to square off against Arroyo at 4:00 p.m. on Thursday. San Leandro is coming into the contest on a three-game losing streak.

Things were looking good for San Leandro after they put the first points on the board on Tuesday, but unfortunately for them things went downhill from there. They took a 6-3 hit to the loss column at the hands of Arroyo.

Gary Ferguson was huge while hitting and pitching even without the win. On the mound, he tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off one hit. That's the fewest hits he has allowed since back in February of 2024. He was also stellar in the batter's box, going a perfect 2-for-2 with one home run and three RBI.

Ferguson wasn't the only one making solid contact as four players wound up with at least one hit. One of them was Lorenzo Charles, who scored a run while getting on base in three of his four plate appearances.

San Leandro's defeat dropped their record down to 6-3. As for Arroyo, their win ended a six-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 2-6.
