Basketball Recap: Wes-Del Has No Trouble Against Eastern

A well-balanced attack led Wes-Del over Eastern in every quarter on their way to victory on Thursday. The Wes-Del Warriors took down the Eastern Comets 61-43.

Wes-Del had a senior duo take command as Gabriel Becerra dropped a double-double on 17 points and 11 rebounds and Josiah Love went 10 for 20 to rack up 22 points and seven boards. That makes it four consecutive games in which Love has scored at least a third of Wes-Del's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Julian Carpenter, who posted 11 points and five boards.

Wes-Del smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 15 offensive boards. That's the most offensive rebounds they've managed all season.

Wes-Del's win bumped their record up to 7-9. As for Eastern, their loss dropped their record down to 6-9.
