Volleyball Recap: Tiverton Beats Rogers for Their Third Straight Victory + How To Watch

Tiverton waltzed into their matchup on Thursday with two straight wins... but they left with three. They came out on top against the Rogers Vikings by a score of 3-1. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

Tiverton had a slow start but a hot finish: after dropping the first set, they turned around to win the next three. Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 26-28, 25-6, 25-23, 25-9.

Jezaleigh DeOliveira and Alana Finn certainly did their best on Thursday to avoid the loss. DeOliveira had 17 digs, while Finn had three digs and two aces. DeOliveira is on a roll when it comes to digs, as she's now had 12 or more in each of the last five games she's played.

Tiverton's win bumped their record up to 3-0. As for Rogers, they are on a five-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 5-12.

We've got plenty of inter-league action coming up soon. Tiverton is set to square off against their familiar foe Tolman at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday. Meanwhile, Rogers will challenge rival St. Raphael Academy at 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday.
