Preview: Calvert Cavaliers vs. Forest Park Foresters
Calvert is on a four-game streak of home wins, while Forest Park is on a four-game streak of away wins: one of those streaks is about to end. The Calvert Cavaliers will take on the Forest Park Foresters at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. Both teams have allowed few points on average, (Calvert: 9.1, Forest Park: 4.6) so any points scored will be well earned.
Calvert extended their postseason success on Friday against Fallston. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat the Cougars 36-0 at home. Calvert might be getting used to big wins seeing as the team's won six matches by 29 points or more this season.
Calvert had a senior duo take command as Domaine Wallace Jr. rushed for 197 yards while picking up 7.0 yards per carry and Dajuan Robinson threw for 130 yards and three touchdowns.
Meanwhile, it was close, but on Saturday Forest Park sidestepped Winters Mill for a 12-9 win.
TiJuan Reed was the offensive standout of the contest as he rushed for 144 yards and two touchdowns on only 12 carries.
Their wins bumped Calvert to 11-1 and Fallston to 7-5.
