 In what's become a running theme this season, Ripon gave their fans yet another huge  win on Friday. They were the clear victor by  a  7-1 margin over the Hilmar Yellowjackets. The  victory made it back-to-back  wins for Ripon.
  Kharime Caratachea spent all seven innings on the mound, and it's clear why: she surrendered one  run (which was  unearned)  on three hits and racked up eight Ks. She has been nothing but reliable: she hasn't  pitched less than five  innings in five consecutive pitching appearances.
 At the plate,  the team  relied heavily on  Alana Hernandez, who  got on base  in all three of her plate appearances with a  home run, two  runs,  and two  RBI. The team also got some help courtesy of  Addison Naranjo, who  scored two  runs and  stole a base while going 2-for-3.
