Monroe extended their home winning streak to eight games dating back to last season thanks to a huge performance from Kie'Aundria Acree. The Monroe Golden Tornadoes enjoyed a cozy 55-37 victory over the Bainbridge Bearcats on Saturday thanks in part to Acree, who dropped a double-double on 31 points and 14 boards. Her evening made it 39 games in a row in which she has scored at least ten points.

Taylor Mckinzy was another key player, dropping a double-double on 16 points and ten rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to points, as she's now scored 15 or more in the last eight games she's played.

Monroe has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 13-5 record this season. Those victories came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 63.7 points per game. As for Bainbridge, they now have a losing record at 8-9.

Monroe will take on Fitzgerald at 3:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Monroe's favor is that they have posted at least 55 points in their last three games. As for Bainbridge, they will venture away from home to face off against Lee County at 12:00 p.m. on Monday. Bainbridge is coming into the contest on a five-game losing streak.
