Baseball Recap: St. Martin Takes a Loss

St. Martin lost against Gulfport last Tuesday, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Yellow Jackets fell just short of the Admirals by a score of 3-2. The Yellow Jackets have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

St. Martin saw two different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Gavin Nitcavic, who went 2-for-3 with one double.

St. Martin's defeat dropped their record down to 10-10. As for Gulfport, their win was their fifth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 14-6.

The teams didn't have to wait long for a rematch: the Admirals beat St. Martin by a score of 13-0 on Saturday.
