Volleyball Recap: Marmaton Valley Takes a Loss

Marmaton Valley lost against Central Heights on September 6th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Tuesday. The Wildcats took a 2-0 hit to the loss column at the hands of the Vikings.

Once all was said and done, the final score wound up at 25-12, 25-8.

Marmaton Valley has traveled a rocky road recently, having lost 11 of their last 13 contests. That's put a noticeable dent in their 5-15 record this season. As for Central Heights, they are on a roll lately: they've won six of their last eight matches. That's provided a nice bump to their 9-13 record this season.

We've got plenty of inter-district action coming up soon. Marmaton Valley will face off against rival Jayhawk Linn on Tuesday. Meanwhile, Central Heights is set to square off against their familiar foe Pleasanton at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday.
