Basketball Game Preview: Fairbanks Panthers vs. Centerburg Trojans

The Fairbanks Panthers will take on the Centerburg Trojans at 7:30 p.m. on Wednesday.

On Monday, Fairbanks ended up a good deal behind Buckeye Valley and lost 55-37. While losing is never fun, the Panthers can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Ohio basketball rankings (they are ranked 392nd, while the Barons are ranked 106th).

Meanwhile, Centerburg blew past Beechcroft, posting a 68-33 victory. The Trojans have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 17 contests by 20 points or more this season.

The win made it two in a row for Centerburg and bumps their season record up to 18-3. As for Fairbanks, their loss ended a four-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 11-9.
