After having lost a blowout in their previous game against Northwest Christian, Rainier Christian was happy to have turned things around on Friday. They narrowly escaped with a win as the squad sidled past the Summit Atlas Orcas 65-62. The high-flying offensive performance was a huge turnaround for the Mustangs considering their 30-point performance the match before.

Rainier Christian's victory ended a seven-game drought on the road dating back to last season and puts them at 1-2. As for Summit Atlas, they have traveled a rocky road recently having lost three of their last four contests, which put a noticeable dent in their 2-4 record this season.

Rainier Christian will take on Auburn Adventist in a holiday battle at at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Auburn Adventist will roll in looking for their fourth straight win, something Rainier Christian surely won't give up without a fight. Summit Atlas and Evergreen Lutheran will compete for holiday cheer at 7:00 p.m. on Wednesday.
