Soccer Recap: Jacksonville Takes a Loss

Jacksonville lost against Guntersville back in March of 2023, and unfortunately they wound up with the same result on Friday. The Jacksonville Golden Eagles came up short against the Guntersville Wildcats, falling 6-0. The Golden Eagles have now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.

Jacksonville now has a losing record of 2-3. As for Guntersville, the win was the third in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 4-1.

Coming up, Jacksonville will face off against Weaver at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. As for Guntersville, a feisty cat fight will be fought as the Guntersville take on the Mars Hill Bible at 3:00 p.m. on Saturday. Guntersville's defense has only allowed 0.5 goals per game this season, so Mars Hill Bible's offense will have their work cut out for them.
