Basketball Recap: Royse City Extends Home Winning Streak to Five

Royse City entered their tilt with Rockwall on Friday with two consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with three. They had just enough and edged the Rockwall Yellowjackets out 62-59. The win was all the more spectacular given the Bulldogs' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 221st, while the Yellowjackets are ranked 67th).

Royse City pushed their record up to 18-13 with the victory, which was their fifth straight at home. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.0 points over those games. As for Rockwall, their defeat dropped their record down to 21-9.
