St. Laurence extended their postseason success on Saturday against Benet Academy. They came out on top against the Redwings by a score of 8-5. The victory was nothing new for the Vikings as they're now sitting on 11 straight.

Daniel Coyle made a big impact no matter where he played. He looked comfortable on the mound, pitching three innings while giving up just one earned run off three hits. Coyle was also solid in the batter's box, going 2-for-3 with two RBI, one run, and one double.

In other batting news, Ben Geary was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two stolen bases, two runs, and one RBI. Connor Marino was another key player, getting on base in four of his five plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.

St. Laurence was getting hits left and right and finished the game having posted a batting average of .452. That's the best batting average they've posted all season.

St. Laurence's record is now 37-5. As for Benet Academy, they moved to 26-13 with that loss, which also ended their seven-game winning streak.

As of now, neither St. Laurence nor the Redwings have any future games scheduled.
