Recap: Alemany Warriors vs. Crespi Celts
The Alemany Warriors suffered their closest defeat since December 1, 2023 on Friday. They fell just short of Crespi by a score of 61-58. While losing is never fun, Alemany can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' California basketball rankings (they are ranked 221st, while Crespi is ranked 26th).
Crespi got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Joe Sterling out in front who scored 17 points along with seven rebounds and three steals. Drew Fisher was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with eight rebounds.
Alemany has traveled a rocky road recently, as they've lost four of their last five matchups, which put a noticeable dent in their 12-14 record this season. As for Crespi, their win bumped their record up to 21-6.
Alemany will head out on the road to take on Loyola at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. Crespi does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
