Softball Recap: South Comes Up Short

South had to start their season on the road on Friday, and it wasn't the start they were hoping for. They fell 8-3 to the Campbell County Camels. Sadly, the defeat continues a streak the team started last season, making it ten in a row.

Emma Frost was cooking despite her team's loss, going 1-for-2 with one home run and two RBI.

South wasted no time getting back out on the field and has already played their next game, an 8-7 win against Worland on the 20th. As for Campbell County, they also didn't take long to hit the field again: they've already played their next contest, a 14-0 victory against Green River on the 20th.
