Governor Mifflin was not able to break out of their rough patch on Wednesday as the team picked up their fifth straight loss. They lost 18-12 to the Muhlenberg Muhls. One positive for the Mustangs, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.
Claire Hoffman led a balanced group of hitters, going 1-for-4 with one home run and one stolen base. She also put up an RBI, which was her first of the season. Abby Brunelli was another key player, scoring a run while getting on base in four of her five plate appearances.
Hoffman wasn't the only one working in the hit department: Governor Mifflin kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 11 hits. That's the most hits they've managed all season.
