Genesee came tearing into Saturday's matchup with four straight wins , and they left with even more momentum. They came out on top against the Prairie Pirates by a score of 2-0. That's the second time they've managed to beat them this season, as they also won 3-0 back in September.

While Genesee won a shutout, things came down to the wire in the second set they played. The match finished with set scores of 25-15, 25-23.

Genesee's victory bumped their record up to 17-5. As for Prairie, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 6-12.
