Volleyball Recap: Mescalero Apache Takes a Loss

Mescalero Apache was not able to break out of their rough patch on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight loss. They came up short against the Capitan Tigers, falling 3-0. The Chiefs were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Tigers earlier this season, when they won 3-1.

The final score came out to 25-15, 25-23, 25-23.

Mescalero Apache's defeat dropped their record down to 2-21. As for Capitan, their victory ended a ten-match drought at home dating back to last season and bumped them up to 2-17.

Mescalero Apache does not have any more games scheduled as of now. As for Capitan, they will head out on the road to challenge Lordsburg at 1:30 p.m. on Saturday.
